Author Topic: would this be a good medium gaming desktop  (Read 975 times)

don't be richards just because they're not as informed as you about computers and maybe check yourself before you give inaccurate advice
i'm not even being hostile lol
just giving advice, sorry if that didn't seem very helpful

it's not a good gaming desktop at all.

Processor: $110
1 TB drive: $55
8GB RAM: $60
Windows 7 professional: $140
DVD drive: $35
Basic case: $30
PSU: $50?

Without even looking for a motherboard, building this computer is more expensive and much less expensive convenient than buying it pre-built
but there is this.
i suggest you make sure it has PCI-x16 slots for GPUs, and if it does (it should), buy the computer along with a graphics card to put in it.

idk guys the graphics card seems kinda medium to me

did you actually look at the link beside some of the games? they show the recommended settings to run the game at 30 fps. battlefield 4 requires you to set all of your graphical option in the game to the lowest settings - this to me looks like you could barely run it. if you want to sacrifice quality and, possibly, framerate just so you can use the integrated graphics, that's fine. but you should probably do what i suggested.

what exactly are these intel graphics? they arent integrated?

integrated is very bad. technically you cannot call any computer a gaming computer if it dosnt have a dedicated graphics card.
