Author Topic: I turned 19 yesterday. That means I can legally drink.  (Read 877 times)

I don't live in the states where the drinking age is 21 because otherwise the government wont give highway funding.

also i had the opportunity to buy drinks at restaurants tonight but got rootbeer instead.
alcohol isn't my gig. the title is a bit wrong because even though i can drink now, i won't.

i did get a nice watch though from Guess. it's black and is comfortable.

Happy Birthday!

And you might not be big on drinking (I'm definitely not), but it's nice to have the ability to buy yourself a drink should you be in the mood for one. I don't like getting drunk, but I like the feeling of having had a pint or two.

of course.

i might use it as an excuse to have hard lemonades on hot days.

Welcome to the club brother, I just turned 19 a few months ago. Happy birthday and happy drinking.

Also holy stuff we in the same province.

Just don't let Frontrox's drinking rub off on you

happy birthday

consider trying some craft beer with friends.  split a 6 pack between the two of you and find something you like.  it's kind of important to be able to casually drink when the event arises because it becomes such an integral part of both your social life and your professional life.  sometimes you simply can't avoid it.

just a thought.

Best place on earth.
Aside from Alberta of course ;)

I don't think that'll happen because I'm like a nagging grandmother when it comes to telling him he'll die of liver death.

The first post is a little bit blunt with the "i wont drink" statement, which is true to an extent, as it isn't something I find really necessary to have a good time, nor is it my first choice of activity to do when bored. Will that stop me from having a little drink with friends? No, not really, but it'll be saved moreso for special occasions.

Also beer is like gross. I like those lesbian fruity tasty drinks.

2 years and a month before I can drink in the states, but I probably won't. Alcoholic beverages smell gross.
