Double standards much. Need I say that not supporting Israel does not equate to antisemitism?

/discuss free speech and other stuff

where is the double standard

People are allowed to criticize other minorities as much as they want, but when Israel is criticized, they (government officials) automatically yell "ANTISEMITISM"

idk if anti-black people organizations are allowed?? pretty sure they're not

They're not, and as far as I know there aren't any. Same with aboriginals (one of the big discriminated-against groups in the country. Even my own mother is tribal against them and it disgusts me) and other minorities. This is really the first of such kind of group I've ever seen. Also hate speech is a very difficult thing to prove to a court as a lot of things are quite subjective in their meaning, just thought I'd point that out. Even if charges are pressed chances are they could easily get the charges dropped.

There's a difference between being tribal and protesting against a particular country.

is the group against the ethnicity or the nation? I'm sure Canada wouldn't mind an anti Iran organization

Are you suggesting we allow it just because it could be easy to get out of?

I'm saying that what is and what is not anti-seminism can be up to opinion, which can make it extremely difficult to prosecute. I honestly don't know what my opinion is on this, because I haven't done any research into the group or what it stands for.

it's stated goals
Quote
The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement (BDS Movement) is a global campaign[1] attempting to increase economic and political pressure on Israel to comply with the stated goals of the movement: the end of Israeli occupation and colonization of Palestinian land, full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and respect for the right of return of Palestinian refugees.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if some of its members were antisemitic, considering the tensions between Arabs and Jews over Palestine/Israel

Yeah unless they know something we don't (Which is entirely possible, mind you) they have basically no hard evidence of actual hate speech and hence no chance of successfully prosecuting. According to that little bit of text, they're against the extreme lack of human rights that Israel as a country is known for.

I'm very familiar with the BDS movement, which is a nonviolent movement that calls for the boycott of Israel. See the problem with Israel is that it calls itself the "Jewish state", and plays the antisemitism card whenever someone insults the country. TYT had a pretty good video on why it was so hypocritical: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lo3aLzkYieo .
