Its 4-5 in the morning and my sisters dog is barking. Normally its not bad because shes usually wanting to go outside or barking at a racoon(probably).
It was different this time. The barking was more intense and rapid, and the dog was constantly scratching the glass door in the backyard. I grab an airsoft rifle and a pen for self defense and carefully enter the backyard, turning on the lights to reveal everything. As I do so, the dog comes SPRINTING out and barking, but I see nothing. Just the dog staring at the fence to my nextdoor neighbors and scratching it, staring at the top of it and trying to jump.
Then it goes to the fence of the house behind me and does the same. And then it goes around to where the gate to the backyard is. As time goes on, the dog constantly moves around the backyard occasionally growling or barking, but I never see anyone.
The hell is going on? I was a little bit slow to wake up from the barking, which could have allowed an escape.
