Author Topic: Cringy offers you get on a second-hand site  (Read 634 times)

I'm never using my playstation (ultra slim 500GB) again so I put it on a second hand site. You get 2 guides and about 15 games (most are very recent) with it and I put it on sale for a small €90. Someone offered to buy it.... For €40.
Like really? That's robbery. It's not even half of what I asked.

the offer to post in this thread

I was browsing for a Playstation on a second hand site. It had a lot of stuff, 2 guides and like 15 games iirc.

He was offering it for €90 the madman haha. I offered him €40 for it, probably the most he is gonna get.

Wasn't a website or shady, but GameTraders offered me $10 for Flight Simulator X, Sims 1, 3 PSP games and 4 Xbox 360 games. forget right off.

I'd buy a PS4 for 90 euro if I didn't have one

this is good enough i guess

Someone offered me $1 for my mind.

second-hand doesn't mean shady

when did this happen? cus that sounds like a pretty reasonable offer right now
the sims is from 2000. and FSX is from 2006. I imagine the others aren't much different

still though, that's like 9 games that could go for a good 5 bucks each

2007/8. FSX still costed $60 in Australia, and GameTraders is a "retro" game story (they sell Windows 98 games, Gamecubes, PS1s, Amigas etc) so I was expecting my Sims 1 copy (with case, manual, cd-key, quick install guide and the disc all in great quality) to do well.

One time I saw someone selling a PS1 loose with no controllers or cables for like $40. Same person was also selling THPS4 in pretty stuff condition for $9.
