electric and acoustic

I wish I could play the guitar well; my fingers refuse to grow calluses or anything like them so it hurts to play

Don't worry about callouses. Those won't come until years of constant use. The pain will subside when your fingers are used to playing. It also helps to play a guitar that's set up well and has low action. The lower the action, the less you have to press down to hit the fret. (Also a lighter gauge string set can help too, but you can get into fret buzz territory if the tention is too light)

i like to goof around on my starcaster once in a while

not that good of a guitar, but i wasn't making a huge investment on that kind of career anyways

i also have a pignose i plug it up too if i want to play with an amp, pretty good quality considering the price and size

I play anything that's handed to me. Practicing acoustic ATM.

This is my practice rig for my room for when I wanna get a little loud (because I can just plug in headphones if I wanted too, instead of an amp).

Add me, I play acoustic and electric.

I practice in a class at my school and self learning.

I don't have much money for gear so my guitars have been under $100 and I've just been using a small amp.

Proof

Sorry, does this count as a cross post?

Can somebody recommend to me a good compressor pedal?

Alteration - Electric - New Wave/Shoegazer

Gear:
Yamaha EG 112C (strat clone) > Boss DS-1 > Ibanez CF7 > Ephiphone Studio-10CDx > Computer.
The CF7 also goes to a First Act M2A-04 amp I use as a monitor (woo stereo pedals!).

Kinda cheap and simple but it works for what I need. I generally add any other fx I need with Audacity or VSTs.

I also have an acoustic but I don't play it much.
