Author Topic: Has Anyone Used Fiverr Before?  (Read 448 times)

So I'm looking to sell some shirts this summer as a side project. Before I get the shirts printed, I need the vector file of the image that is to be put on the shirts. I was thinking fiverr would be a good idea to get someone to create the design, because some people will do 2 for $5. Considering I suck stuff at graphic design and have money to spend, should I pull the trigger on this? It seems pretty legit if you pick someone with good ratings, and for 2 shirt designs for $5, I could get a stuff load of designs. I already have the shirt printing and shipping part worked out, all I need is this bit. Is it worth it, in your opinion?

At first I thought you were talking about a workout supplement.

And it might be worth it. For a summer side project, that seems okay to at least try. Just doesn't seem too guaranteed or stable.

We're mainly selling shirts to raise money for cancer research because Susan G Komen merch is a loving scam (less than 10% of proceeds donated to charity). Proceeds are going to the local children's cancer research hospital. The shirts are mainly just free marketing for us to get more people to buy the shirts and give more money to cancer research, because the shirts are essentially billboards for us. We're literally making nothing from the shirts, only covering the costs of producing them.
