The terminal is completely different from Cmd. OS X is UNIX-based. I'll reinvestigate how I once did this when I get home.

That's exactly what I said. A dedicated server doesn't have to be on the same computer that the host would use to play.
I was telling him to put the dedicated server console on another computer.
