Author Topic: Teneksi's Garage - Ambulance back in progress  (Read 27215 times)

god damn it what's with add-on creators having their hard-drives stuff themselves lately? it's like a running gag now.
No don't say that :c

Also stuff that really sucks, hopefully you managed to backup some of your files.

Haha, maybe I should have seen it coming.

Well, I've learned my lesson. It's time to start making regular backups of everything important.

Edit:

To ID 43984, MrShades877:

When you join my server and say
"pls"
"make an ambulance already"

it makes me want to avoid making you happy.

Are you gonna continue or take a break?

Both. Thanks for bumping this thread.

I've had to remake the entire thing, which has been frustrating, and lack of motivation has made it take a very long time, but progress is being made.
Plus, thanks to this being the second time I've made it, it's turning out even better than before.

It's been over a month? Yuck.

Things to do:

Interior: Dash, seats, steering wheel, seating and shelves in back of ambulance
Ambulance-specific doors
Decals/paint
Properly-animated lights (instead of scheduled hidenode/unhidenode which make it a lag meter; if I learn how to do this I'll probably update the CVPI)
Acquire ambulance sirens

After release:

2006 E-Series van with non-ambulance rear end (including cargo and passenger variants, garage support)

Awesome, pretty cool you're getting involved in the modeling again.

On the topic of that, could you also include a Box Truck:

Garage Support masterrace

Garage Support masterrace
We let you lead mighty creator (even though MARBLE MAN helped)!

On the topic of that, could you also include a Box Truck:

ah. yes. I actually made that before, but I didn't learn to animate the door.

In other news, Port once gave me a script that made it so that holding Z would temporarily enable strafe steering (if you're using mouse steering), the way it used to be before an old update. It was a small script but I don't know how to make it, and now I'm realizing how much I relied on it. I asked him about it a month or two ago but never heard back. Does anyone else have one?
