Setting a profile picture

I've checked the box "i will upload my own picture" and selected a screenshot that I want as my profile pic, once i select "change profile" it goes back to the page i was on before, without setting the picture. How do i get it to set the picture?

The picture can't be larger that 75x75 pixels.

if you tested it, it actually didn't upload

if your file is too big, it will take too long to upload and the server will be like lolnope
since the avatar is at most 75x75 pixels, resize it to 75x75 and upload that
