Didn't someone mention before that he lost the original files for the blockhead? You can actually get the player model and most of the DSQ animations via the old version of Shaper, but a lot of the other animations break the positioning of the various mesh contained within the player model and you would need Milkshape 3D to 'Scale All' by 1000% to make it normal sized and possibly fix some weird smoothing and broken UV mesh
He lost the original files, like Legodude said, though I wonder if he's trying to make a new design, like bringing back the original limbs or adding other things like the skeleton parts, or alternate body parts and head shapes, maybe even hair.
But you wouldn't need to change anything about the player model. This is about hats. There's no need to move any mountpoints when there's already a head mountpoint. The hats are a separate file.
Once again, I forgot what, but Badspot stated once that even if he wanted to add new hats or parts to the model, he couldn't due to something about the model being whole and parts being just hidden, or something like that, have someone dig up the post where he explained it because I barely remember. In a nutshell he basically said he needs to remake the model because he lost the old one and can't add parts to the new one.
Don't worry guys I come with answers. News reports that Mr. Rotondo has shared some interesting information regarding a touchy and anticipated project while in his LEET state. Not only was the topic of hats the biggest controversy in our history, but Badspot will no longer be returning to us as he has married and you know married people can't play computer games anymore. Rotondo will likely be taking over as leader. We are taking over as leader.Blockland is ours guys. Expect the source code to be released soon.
