Pretty sure paramedics get paid less than that? Why should people who can't get a real job be given more money?
that doesn't make any sense as a complaint period, but much less as an argument against raising the minimum wage
first of all, if the minimum wage was raised, "people who flip burgers" wouldn't be getting paid
more, they'd both be getting paid the minimum wage
second, if you have a problem with how little paramedics are being paid, the solution isn't to make sure everyone else gets paid less...
