small scene build from a time travel movie im making

earlier this year i posted a build i made for a scene but i decided to scratch the layering of events and change it into something else
this is one of the builds where a major couple of scenes take place, it isn't meant to look good right now as it is WIP

the "machine" is a large gate field suspended from the ceiling
i have the events paved out p well, i've been thinking over the idea for a few months

meaning that this is the basis of the build itself and not a complete idea so people dont have a complete utter stufffit that i tried to make something

making progress

heres an old picture of when i was originally going for a glados-like chamber with a computer suspended from the ceiling, i decided to scrap it as it wouldn't really add as any scenery and proved to be a little too high of a ceiling level:

it was originally planned out like this in June 2015

(ik it was made in paint but i wanted an idea quickly)
