well the thing is... Wireless works, except it constantly drops every 2 seconds

Check Device Manager and see if the option for the computer automatically disabling it is enabled on your network card.

I'm not explaining that because this is something you could Google in like 20 seconds.

It's part of default windows power settings

Even at max power saving settings, it should only do it if battery is low, so if your plugged in it shouldn't matter

Also there's a difference between disabling the device and disconnecting from a network.

It's most likely a hardware or driver issue

Check if the router's GHz range is within your card's range.

This used to happen to me when my router was giving the network off at 2.5GHz and my card read up to 2.4GHz.
