So recently I have been playing blockland again after a long hiatus, and with that I have started to build terrain again. Because I plan to make quite a bit terrain, I have decided to just dump all of the ones I make here. I might put download links with some of these, but be forwarned, we use quite a bit of brick sets so you might have trouble using them.

Terrain - Sideroad

Description:

I built this piece quite awhile ago, on another account and under a different name. It uses cubes and zone bricks to create a fairly decent form, and tops it off with elms trees. Due to the fairly low custom brick count, I have released a download for it.

Terrain - Island

Description:

I only recently made this build, and its still not quite done, but I still think it would only be fair to put it in here. It consists of a pretty flat island with some unique features splotched all around. The download will not be made availabe mainly due to it being planned as a map for a server. If I dont get around to finishing it though, I will put up a download for the (mostly complete) island.

Terrain - River

Link: N/A

Description:

A river that I made super recently, it mainly serves as a study for how to make rock formations. I had earlier tried to do this in my island build, but I felt I was not properly doing it, so I made this. I do plan on expanding it more, but for now it servers as eye-candy.

Download: N/A (Will put it up when finished)

Sooo... I took yet another hiatus from Blockland and have recently reawakened myself to the splendor of creating terrain. Here be the new terrain I make.

Terrain - Island 2 (Name TBA)

Link: N/A

Description:

Now that I am back into the mood of building, I figured what better piece to start off with another huge project... right? This time, I plan on doing it quite a bit different though. The island will include more height variaty, and attempt to use much less special brick types so that when all is said and done, the build can be released to the public. At the moment the build is very primitive and still may be scrapped.

Download: N/A (Not finished)

Woh, this is really good. 9/10

This is really good, I personally love the cubescape/brickscape. But just to help, some constructive criticism.

Pros:
-Custom Made Trees
-Realistic change of terrain color
-Looks more amazing with shaders
-Would look good as an adventure game
-Good use of hills, and vertical drops

Cons:
-Terrain has only trees
-Bit plain on overground detail

Possible Improvements:
-Bushes
-Flowers
-Rocks

Overall, I would give this a 9.5/10

Btw, there are bushes, but the problem is that they are the same color as the ground. :c

Well the real problem with the bushes is they are too blocky I can tell thats the style you are going for but iff you used different bricks and make them more bush like they wont blend in so much.

But real nice terrains.

to help the bushes stand out more, you could elevate them by one plate and have the support plate be brown.

your brickscape is interesting; you use multiple bricks to make large blocks. i'll have to remember about that design idea at some point.
brickscape is solid, but cubescape you just lazily raise and lower to make terrain. works, but its not optimum or nice to look at or easy to traverse

Yeah, I made that quite awhile ago. I actually stopped working on it because it was pretty average (and I lost the save to a more complete version of it.) and I will try what you said about the bushes.

A picture that Cortunix took of Island 2 on a foggy day.

So, I am not good at taking pictures, but here is a quick snap of a flat area on Island 2 I recently did.
