Author Topic: Blockland stops responding when first person joins server  (Read 526 times)

I don't know why Blockland does this.

I run a 64-bit version of Windows 7.

Can anyone help me?

console.log after this happens please

did you give it time to process?
it sounds like it's generating the list of addons needed for players to join
if you try reducing the number of addons, it may go faster

most of the time when a server is started, theres a file that players need to download before they can play and the file contains some sort of data referring to content on the server. Thing is, the server doesnt generate the file automatically when it starts. Its generated when a player enters the server, and this player is the first player to the server. Once the file is generated, which takes a few seconds to a minute, its sent to the players client and the file is ready to be downloaded to other clients.
Atleast this is what I think happens
but yeah, like Phflack said, give it some time

just wait and don't click the bl window when it's frozen
if you click bl will stop responding and that's when it'll just quit

Also when blockland is not responding do not press any buttons. Chances it will also quit Blockland.
