this isn't even tumblr. it's mob mentality among a fandom, specifically the SU fandom. and it's not the first time stuff like this has happened. a girl nearly killed herself over a group of markiplier fans harassing her because marks ex girlfriend spun a web of lies. it's really ridiculous how awful fandoms can get

well, I'm not totally sure what you meant by this but like... I've noticed a lot of fandoms that get stuffty with one another it does tend to involve the ones who like to ship gay relationships. maybe it's a coincidence but that's just a strange trend I've noticed in fandoms

the SU fandom is pretty much as bad as every other show that's fandom largely populates tumblr. see: doctor who, spn, sherlock etc

tumblr seems to be the genesis of most of it though so twitter is just a vehicle and doesnt sound as good as mob enablr
