A view which he is no doubt going to pass on to his child unfortunately

i remember not being able to tell if he was being sarcastic when he posted this or not
this whole page screams satire, but he posted it was if there was nothing wrong with it. i guess he just never read it

Doesn't this just give the crazies more of a platform to bitch and moan about it? I just see this making them even more paranoid about it.
"Why is the government forcing us to vaccinate our kids now?! It's a conspiracy, asdfghjjllsfghjl!!"
Doesn't matter if they bitch and moan more, so long as it pushes more people to vaccinate.

Not all people who don't vaccinate do so out of disagreeing with vaccines. Many fail to get their children vaccinated because they can't be bothered, or don't have the time, or don't see the benefit.
If they lose money because of it though, that may be enough of an incentive to push those people to make sure their children are vaccinated.

Personally, i disagree with this law.
But that's my opinion.
My opinion is factually incorrect etc.

Even if it's an opinion you must have a reason, so why?

In my opinion if you don't get your children immunized then you're doing them a major disservice. If you'd rather have your child get whooping cough over autism (which doesn't even happen whatsoever) be my loving guest

For the people who don't agree with this, here's a reminder for something that a lot of people seemed to miss/misunderstand when this was proposed:
This isn't any sort of "fine"
It's simply a reduction of child-care related tax refunds
People don't want to pay for subsidies to child-care expenses for people who aren't taking care of their children

Yeah, it's the same as not being paid something like Job-Seekers Allowance in the UK if you aren't signed on to job-seeking programmes.

Well not just child-care subsidies in fairness. 'Family Tax Benefit A' is also not going to be given, which is something like 5k per child per year if they're 0-12 y/o. The news report also says there are other rebates but I'm not sure what these are.

"subsidies" is the wrong word then I guess
The tax rebates are all child related, except for (possibly) the unspecified "other rebates"
