I mean, it wouldn't be too hard to make a few addons such as the Duplicator or fillcan default.

TBM had that mentality. They took every add-on they could and packaged it as a default package. The game runs like stuff.

It's safer to not include too many add-ons in the default game.

If I was given a million dollars to support an indie game I made that's already nearly ten years old, I'd reserve about a quarter of it for server maintenance and retire on the rest.

Maybe push through an update every now and then, but only as a hobby.

You can't retire on a single million dollars. Like a lot of people have this mentality that a million dollars is a lot of money.

A decent 2+ story middle class house is worth about 500,000 dollars.
