Author Topic: Photoshop Challange.  (Read 1153 times)

Easy picture based topic. You take an unedited photo of something around your house. With your phone, camera, or anything and with no more than one edit you must make it look wallpaper quality.

Example.

Other than how I displayed the before and after. The Upper left and lower right corners are the original. The upper right and lower left corner are the new edit.

All I did was take an old photo of mine off my [moderalty professional] Camera of my backyard during the snow last year then went to edit the darkness and contrast with the curves feature in Photoshop. If you ask me it looks nice. Abit bright for a desktop but the edit is decent

You must some how display a before and after picture. I used that artsy grid thing.

Challenge hard-mode.

Don't tell us what you did and let us guess what the one change was. Just play fair and use one tool or one edit.
If you use a tool make sure you let us know you used a tool. Just dont specify.

Challenge SUPER hard mode.

Same rules as Hard-mode but. You get to have a second edit. The edit must remove one object from the photo. Guess the tool and what object is missing.

Few ground rules.
No Artistic filters. To me artistic filters are things that combine multiple steps into one. Example are the quick and easy Instagram filters. If you use adobe Photoshop that comes into the filter gallery function.

Game Screenshots and artwork do not count. Take the photo yourself with a camera.

Have fun!

why the hell would you watermark that lol

god so many rules
i didn't study D:

this reminds me i need to organize my pictures better
anways

these were more just me loving around more than anything else

Holy loving stuff so many watermarks.

what does "one edit" mean

i've done a ton of stuff
in studio environments, filling in backdrop gaps or covering up showing clamps, if the subject goes a bit off the edge
in non-studio environments, especially when there's a lot of stuff in the background, all sorts of edits to make subject stand out against background, like getting rid of distracting objects when i can, or just darkening them a bit
general exposure and vibrance adjustments
etc

but its all furry stuff and i don't feel like making this into a drama thread

although its mostly lightroom, not photoshop

You make one action that caused the picture to change. One simple edit. Change the Vibrancy. Or the exposure. Apply an optical blur. Tilt shift, change the saturation. Simple.

i like to create a layer, then put down random strokes of colors and blur them then trying out different blend effects they make on pictures

i forgot about this one

^i just realized i uploaded the wrong original one but forget it i don't feel like searching through 1000+ pictures to find it

I might as well participate, and also to note, that watermark is so unneeded for an underwhelming photo rofl

Before and after is top to bottom on the first two images, and left to right on the last one
