1) most--actually, I think all of the mods-- are not copyrighted

Every single mod is copyrighted. It is automatically copyrighted by the person who has written it, at the time they have written it, regardless of if a copyright message was posted on it or not. At least, that is how it works in the US.

Quote from: End User License Agreement you agreed to upon Installation
2. Grant of License.
Step 1: Games grants you the nontransferable, nonexclusive right to use the Software in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

YOU MAY: (i) load the software into RAM as well as install it on a hard disk or other storage device, and (ii) make one copy for backup purposes.

YOU MAY NOT: modify, translate, disassemble, reverse engineer, or decompile the Software. Any derivative works become property of Step 1: Games.

Badspot owns all the mods you post, so technically you're trying to copyright something you don't own, which isn't permitted.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you say something's the "dog's bollucks" doesn't that mean it's good.

The term "the dog's bollocks" means it is the best of the best.
