Author Topic: I think my laptop CPU is dying  (Read 324 times)

Well so I started my laptop as usual, went on youtube and watched some video. Some time in the video the audio glitched the forget out and my screen went black, the audio started the playing back and a second or 2 later the screen went back too. But I had a loud ass windows notification sound with "Intel display graphics" or whatever the forget "stopped working and has succesfully recovered". Well I had this with my Nvidia graphics a while back and I have somehow fixed it. Either way continuing watching the video every 10 secs the screen freezes for a second or so with either the audio glitching out or just playing regardless the screen getting forgeted. I am trying to update drivers atm so yeh
And no I haven't tried turning it on and off yet.

EDIT: Yeh there was a driver update available.

What temperatures does your components run when this occurs? Install program like Core Temp and check if overheating

This is your GPU* not CPU
