Why was Flash removed from allowed BBCode tags?

This hasn't existed for a while, but it's been a question that's been nagging at me for a while.

I understand there are 'trap' flashes which spam tabs or are screamers, but I don't get it.
It'd make embeds with a couple sites a lot easier, plus if someone makes swf flash animations, they could put them on thir here instead of on a external link.

If it's size, it also has dimension tags as well (if i remember, [flash=x,y] ?).

there isn't exactly much of that nowadays. and i know the community's a bit odd at times, they wouldn't straight up do that unless they were suiciding
and that rarely happens unless it's a problem user

but, meh. you answered my question. might as well lock this up.
