i know he's not, but he personally tells you he's disappointed that you can't overcome it. he says that "every musician has it but they can overcome it."
being the organist for a church is the reason i'm not anxious in front of people anymore lol. you can't play with shaky, sweaty hands, so you have to get over it and ignore the fact that there are people. they aren't going to stop the service like "aww she's nervous lets cut her some slack :))" they expect you to perform well and perform consistently.
4.0 is a maximum for an unweighted grade. If you take honors or AP classes, the value for an A is 5 instead of 4 when you add up all the values and divide by how many classes you have (weighted)
that kind of mentality sets me into a panic attack, which is precisely what happened when i played in the exam. i have a huge fear of authority and failure and i don't think that mixed well.
I thought 4.0 was the maximum? Unless you have a weight GPA I guess, what are your grades?
I really got straight A's (ish) freshman year with 4 honors classes, and I'm number 6 in my class with a 4.3510.
I suddenly looked at my grades and figured out I have a 4.7 o_O
