school wifi is straight up just annoying. at least for me.
recently i've been having the most stupid trouble with this. mainly, with my phone.
it will get HORRID connection in some places, and sometimes refuse to connect at all.
i have to connect to the network like 10 times just to even get in, because it keeps saying "Failed to get IP address" over and over and over.
connecting isn't also the only issue. another issue is straight up connection. the internet can be painfully slow to the point of unusable at points. and as i mentioned before, signal can get terrible in specific rooms, which shouldn't be happening at all. so you might disconnect without even knowing it and use up your data on your phone or lose work if you're using something like google drive w/o having offline data setup.
and then there's the blacklist/firewall. god. it is the most annoying thing.
and no. i'm not even talking about game websites or other things. i'm talking about blogs and random websites that are totally safe that are completely misfired and marked as something it's not. example of my point, click this link:

so i'm forced to use some crappy free proxy just to even get the file, and waste time just to get something that's completely safe and fine.
there's also random tumblr blogs that are safe marked as adult, websites that are fine being marked as completely unreasonable tags, it's so god damn stupid.
i hate my school's networking. it makes me want to just straight up punch the people who do the networking at our school.
does anyone else have this problem? it's so annoying.
