I would honestly advise you to install a default version of Blockland too see if that's normal on your computer.
On windows you can do this using the -profilepath argument in the shortcut to install an additional copy of BL.  I don't know how you'd do it on OSX.

yeah if you're getting that error you broke something that's totally unrelated to your addons folder.

its not the addons fault if you can't start a server at all, even on default settings.
