I got child safe paint all over an old painting, is it possible to remove it without killing the painting itself?
The painting under the spill is also made with the same paint, but 8 years old.

Depending on the exact type of paint, you might just be able to use a damp cloth to wipe it off.
Aren't kid paints water soluble?

long answer: you have ruined the painting, by putting paint on existing paint, using anything to remove the new paint will strip the old paint as well
