~big post ahead~
people were discussing a laser earlier, the laws in Australia regarding any sort of object that sounds like it needs a remote sense of responsibility are annoying. Makes me see why americans love their gun laws so much...
I was planning on buying a combat knife that doesn't look like tacticool trash but most suppliers aren't local or the price range is too high for anything nice
for example
this looked pretty good but apparently flip / switch / folding knives are a no-no in Australia, and importing of weapons is a pain in the ass so i'd rather buy locally if possible
whatever you want to purchase. if you have any interest in an item rn, check to see if the price is under 20 and purchase it
ah but that is the point of the thread, I don't know what I would like to purchase
you can buy gallium on amazon for 8.98
its cool

considering this, was looking for cheap gallium, thanks
do you draw digitally and have a tablet
short answer yes
long answer: I believe a while back I asked the drawing megathread on the quality of the Cintiq and yes I still plan on buying that as a birthday present, I currently have a Wacom bamboo so theres not really a point in buying another tablet.
Ill post if its worth buying a cintiq in the drawing megathread if people are interested but don't expect seeing artworks done with it, Ill do a sketch or two but ive been busy doing physical pieces in school
either way I'm not too fond of using the tablet, the disconnect of drawing on the tablet surface to the screen is strange to me, i'd rather draw /on/ the surface like a paper drawing, which is what the cintiq provides
A chiken nuggerrtteesdfds
You okay buddy?
On another note, the Australian Amazon store only has stuff for the Kindle and the android appstore? Does Amazon not operate physical goods in Australia?
help me with this shopping dilemma
