so with all these edits of iban's cityrpg always being quite crap, and different versions of that cityrpg mod floating around (each with code from various people and such), i was thinking of how someone could make a cityrpg which is a lot easier to customise and make unique, without the requirement to know how to program. an idea was that there was a base cityrpg mod, with the very basics (cash, jobs, banks, whatever else is essential for a cityrpg), and people can create separate modules which are external from the base cityrpg mod (say theres "Gamemode_CityRPG" and then "CityRPG_Law" or something) which can be enabled and disabled to make it how the host wants.
this would make it easier for each host to make their cityrpg more unique without having to program new stuff, and it would make it easier to create and distribute new content for cityrpgs without having edits of the same mod floating everywhere.
i sort of have the means to do this but im just wondering from any standpoint if this is a bad idea, or if people are interested in this sort of thing and would maybe like to help out.
