Author Topic: Fan-made edit of the Battlefield 1 trailer destroys Call of Duty: Infinite War  (Read 897 times)

(I don't think the vote is fair, it's just all saying that activision is screwed)
Irregardless i would buy battlefield 1 over call of duty, battlefield in my honest opinion seems to provide more content
but the only thing that has been pissing me off from both franchises is the crate system but i suppose everyone makes money differently

I still think battlefield 1 is a dumb name

but the infinite warfare trailer was a better trailer, it actually showed bits and pieces of gameplay instead of disjointed 2 second clips of violence that tell us next to nothing about the game other than the setting

i swear the battlefield fanbase now is just as bad as the cod fanbase used to be, thanks bad company

what is this drama even about?
two super gritty fps shooters which are basically the same thing?

Oh really? Locking thread then. Also, that discussion topic is just nothing but endless bickering.

You sound like the kind of person who thinks he's superior because he plays War Thunder or some stuff.

People are entitled to their tastes. FPS games are accessible, action-packed and have a large playerbase so it's very easy to find somebody to play with. There's also been a recent shift to move away from the dulled out colour tones.

Besides, a reveal trailer isn't usually designed to show off the gameplay. It's there to get people excited and stick the name of a game in people's minds (hence why a lot of them use CGI or Live Action to show parts of the story/world). Battlefield's style was far more exciting, and resembled the gameplay they're going to have (personally I thought almost all the shots were from gameplay and I saw a lot of cool stuff in there). CoD tried to show off more story, which made the trailer feel slower and more generic.
