how do i make blockland run better on poop pc

i've been having to use my grandma's pc because my mobo died in my main computer. i get like 15 fps at around 5,000 bricks with this pc. i've tried lowering draw distance to 600 from 1000, but it doesn't seem to be doing much.

i used to be able to play the game just fine back before v21

lower the settings/upgrade the hardware?

could also be addons that are reducing your framerate
ie the old speedometer used to lag horribly and reduce the framerate because it used to loop through all of the datablocks to find the players and calculate their speeds, all of the datablocks included all of the bricks
so even on a fairly good computer, at 15k+ bricks the framerates started to tank
