I think it's kind of lame that they felt the need to remake it because the reason it's such a cult classic is because it was so damn unique. There was never anything else like it, so I feel like trying to recreate something so original kind of dooms your movie from the beginning. That being said, I think Laverne Cox was a good choice from a casting perspective- she has the laugh and the attitude and everything and I trust her to give the character respect.
