Author Topic: Yes more port forwarding topics.  (Read 1466 times)

Yes another port forwarding topic. Whenever i get to the last step in port forwarding I enter everything in and when i press okay, my internet goes down.
Anyone know why this happens?

no help for you sry i cant get the ports to go

If you do that and you still cant host a game then you did it wrong.

Well I have checked over the port forwarding tutorial and I seem to have done it right escept for one thing, I can't put TCP and UDP in one entry. Would that have any effect what so ever?

I think it has to be UDP if you cant do both.

Tried UDP, the strange thing is at first the server wasnt dead then it crashed. When I hosted again it was just dead. :/

Just realised something, it looks like  I have two routers. Problem is I don't know how to forward the other one's ports. It is a DCM315 modem.

A modem is not a router. That is not your problem.

Hmmmmm, I wonder why it isn't working.

either portforward.com or don't do badspots 3rd step, its what turns off your internets.

No if it is a DSL (maybe cable?) modem it is probably a router. I had the same problem. If your modem has everything you need I would get ride of your second router.

Yes, instep of doing the 3rd step figure out the computer your tying to portforwad to network IP address and portforwrd to that.

Are you forwarding the ports to the computer you are trying to host blockland from? that seems to be the problem several other people are having.
