Ever been home alone and felt like someone was trying to break in? If so, why?

I swear someone was trying to Jimmie our front door a few weeks ago around 1 in the morning

That's a creepy feeling. My apartment is right on the street, and the outer wall of my place (street-facing) is all windows. They've been coated to be opaque, but they're still there because the place is converted from a warehouse. So I hear people sitting just outside my place all the time. I can hear people talking, scratching at the window, etc...we have crazy people in my neighborhood...

i perpetually feel like that regardless of whether or not someone else is home, it's actually pretty helpful usually considering that i keep everything i need to do later around the front door

When I was younger my big brothers friends forgeted with me by turning our power off middle of the night and then went all around the outside of the house knocking on windows and stuff
Ofc as a kid I freaked the hell out

Though not a person trying to break in or something like that, once I was walking into my room when I was alone when suddenly a red blanket that was floating in mid air came out from the wall from the right then disappeared into the left wall, which was the wall to my closet.

I have no idea if I was dreaming or not but I thought I'd share it.
