I understand the problem perfectly. OP is using an old form of windows and trying to use programs made for windows 10 and getting upset that his computer breaks with windows 10
nope, cus that doesn't make any sense. if it didn't work normally, because it was "made for windows 10", it certainly wouldn't work running in compatibility mode for windows 7. compatibility mode isn't for running newer programs, it's for running older programs. it will not help you to run programs made for newer versions of windows. so that is obviously not the problem
