Tbh I'm not even sure why I'm welding the door since I'm probably going to buy a whole used door anyway.

using those kinds of arc welders to fill holes is kind of annoying because you end up burning away a lot of the actual metal like what happened in the video

either way, you made me want to pick up welding again. i haven't done it in over a year

i haven't welded in years but i really should get back into it

I liked watching all those little glowing metal pieces bounce off his hands. It reminds me of the hundreds of grease flecks flying into my under arms when I grill at McDepression.

Turn your heat down so you won't be melting through that body panel so bad.  Also what size wire are you using and what gas mix?  Or is that flux core?
