unrelated, but i personally prefer the windows 8 'start screen' rather than windows 10 because it didnt effect me anyway, but i guess if you relied on the thing then yea i guess it could be annoying and confusing.

why in the forget are people so annoyed with win 10. Win 8 was complete stuff I had to use and then win 10 came in and saved the day for me, win 10 is more manageable, has better features (For example built in game recording) and just everything is improved overall. The only thing I disagree with it is the fact that Microsoft were forcing people to upgrade to it which is just criminal

As far as the Star Menu/Screen debate is concerned; to each their own, but I just personally really disliked the screen. The Menu was just that; an organised, small menu that allowed me to still see my programs on the Desktop and had a stack of shortcuts on the side to common Explorer/Settings locations. The Power options weren't obscured and search was right there at the bottom. In Windows 10, I can just directly type away, right-click for an even more expanded set of common Windows locations and I have the customisation from the Start Screen inside my Menu. It's a mix I love a lot.
