holy stuff does emachines even exist anymore

Like I said, the computer is at least a decade old, so whether or not emachines is still active, it is a relic of a bygone time.

Before you all laud me for using emachines, at least take into consideration I didn't get a choice to get a better computer.

not exactly what you were asking for but close?

it's all air cooled, doesnt go over 65 with intensive use
i have 3 x 120mm NB e-loop b12-4s in a CM silencio 550 (2 front, 1 back)
and a massive (overkill, since im not clocking this thing yet) thermalright heatsink/fan combo on top of the processor the hr-02 i think its called

speccy couldnt even detect my specifications automatically
so i had to manually copy and paste this out... rip

the maximum temp i can achieve on my i3 6300 is 60 celsius
gog damn those fans are really effective
my computer is around 25-30 celsius on idle

Intel i7 4770
WD Caviar Black
NVidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti
32 GB of RAM 1600Mhz DDR3 (they were 2x1 don't judge)
Windows 10.

Max I've seen on my overclocked 4690k is 44c on a hot summer day with no AC playing games. GPU can get up to 60 in this scenario though.

be prepared to have your socks blown off with next to no overclocking headroom if you get an rx480, not saying thats bad but coming from a 960 i was a little let down with that i couldnt oc
my 470 (literally a cut down 480) cant go above the factory overclock at all. 1225mhz on core and 1750mhz on memory
also do you plan to upgrade to zen or wait for something like kabylake
edit:oops doublepost
No overclock at all? That doesn't sound right to me. I know the RX 480 isn't a great overclocker, but 50-ish MHz should be doable at least. I think WattMan is a little buggy, so that might be causing your poor OCing.
Not really planning on upgrading the CPU yet since the 2500k is good enough for me, though when it happens I'm hoping to go for either Zen or Zen+.

my younger brother's computer
it died 2 days later because of the gpu failing

(temp is with Overwatch running)

Looking to upgrade to Skylake-X and hopefully two RX490s next year.
