The Dakotas don't really reflect the rest of the US though. They're still stuck in the wild west era.
I remember my time in North Dakota, I was getting a sasperilla at a mining town and I got into a shootout with a spanish gang after an altercation at the drinking well. Winded up catching a .22lr in the knee and I had to wind down in the nearest motel before getting back on my feet. It would have been fine and all if I didn't miss a cab, I had to take a horse-drawn carriage to Bismark.
why are people protesting this? i've heard about it but i dont know the reason why
What does this even mean? this is on par with some handicapped bullstuff where people think car's don't exist up here, only horse-drawn carriages.
is the northern pacific railroad still the main source of transportation there?
The sad thing is that if these people were black BLM would be all over this loving stuff.I guess red lives don't matter, the smallest and most oppressed minority in America.

This is actually true, since the native americans were segregated and oppressed back even in the 1500s and waaaay before then too.
or how the native population was ~100 million before Columbus and is now 2 million, that's a big one too.
