Author Topic: I have 80 dollars, what's a good portable speaker in that price range?  (Read 845 times)

Either thinking of a portable speaker or saving up for a LG stylo 2.

How often would you be using the speaker?

If you're getting it just to use it like once a week or less, then I'd recommend the phone over it

probably every day in the shower and in my room

probably every day in the shower and in my room
with the door locked?

lol
audio-book research?

headphones are much better for room listening, if you're into secure sound and heavy bass. that's just my personal opinion though. if you extremely like these portable speakers, the (whoever names this must be un-hip) JAM HEAVY METAL HX-P920 which is 90 bucks, but it's extremely good. I've used it during my lunches at school, and by myself when I'm in bed to go to sleep. even the classical sounded great. but, if you like loud rock, or edm, or stuff, get this. I have a few others if you're into other types of music.

I got in to a habit of texting in the shower for a few days with my cheap non-smart phone and the keys all started acting freaky and I couldn't use it for a week until it dried up.

Good portable speaker, 80 dollars?

I'm sorry did you say good? That's not what you'll get for 80 dollars.

Did some looking into it, and I found this Sony SRSX2 Bluetooth Speaker and it only costs 69.99 currently on Amazon

Overall rating of 4.7 too and has a few nice features as well, you should take a look
