Google Cardboard has literally the worst button ever. It was so bad, people ended up sticking their finger around their nose to touch the screen when we were demoing GunmanVR on the Cardboard, before we ported to Oculus.

The buttons fine right now but I can definitely tell it's gonna wear out after awhile
