Computer specs before and after?

Old

Windows 7
GPU: Nvidia gtx 750 ti
CPU: something like Intel q9000 quad core 2.5 GHz
4 gigs of ram

New

i should mention even though its shown, my graphics card hasn't changed

maybe check if your processor speed is throttled based on load. look under power options > advanced and change the min/max processor run speed.

Fog is basically spamming the computer with pixels and pixels. This means it's bad.

Fog causes insane overdraw, especially bad if you want it to receive shadows. It's always slow, for everyone. You probably just had shadows off on the old pc

definitely did not. i use the same shadow settings since i have for the past two years.

Used a lower resolution?

i mean i was just wondering if there was some option i needed to enable or something. but i guess there isnt a solution or so far at least

Does lowering emitter quality do anything for you?

i'm not looking to reduce the quality of my game.

...I wanted to know if it did anything for you.
Nevermind.

i have also had this issue
