You're a little late there buddy.

I dont like DeLoreans that much.

I dont like DeLoreans that much.
Yeah? Well I don't like your face that much.

thats the FINAL STRAW

The question is can we get back to the future in 0.5 a presses
after building up speed for 88 Miles per 12 Hours.

the delorean was stuff then and comparing it to newer vehicles (such as the SRT) will make it even stufftier
like they arent even redesigning it or anything lol

Because if they redesigned it, it would no longer fall under the law that lets them reproduce it without having to conform to modern safety laws.

this reminds me of the guy who printed counterfeit money by printing an outdated version of the bills rather than trying to replicate the modern ones

I can think of a lot of better cars to reproduce in masse than a delorean, why not re make some universally loved, long lasting, useful car that wont end up costing 60k

what if we got another line of E30's
or another line of older camry's

A guy bought all of the parts from DMC when it failed and there is a warehouse in Texas filled with new old stock parts.  I'm pretty sure they've been manufacturing them and you've been able to buy them brand new for a while.

It makes like 100hp and weighs 2,700 pounds, pretty much all modern cars have a better weight/power ratio.  Not to mention that modern suspension would absolutely blow it out of the water.

But like you said even for it's time it was absolute stuff. Super expensive, unreliable, and to top it off it wasn't even fast.  If it was a good car John Delorean wouldn't of had to try and smuggle coke to save his company.
