We seriously need a userscript to change user avatars to something else in clientside just because of lord tony. Because hes copying other peoples avatars i sometimes confuse him with someone else.

I usually block Tony's avatar with uBlock when ever it pops up because majority of the time he is copying someone else.


But I as for the topic, I agree completely, he should keep it to one topic.
He even has me beaten in topic creation and I've been around since '08.

That's honestly quite amazing.

The worst part is that these threads are almost always:

• Posted without a source
• Serve as discrete political misinformation (to the point that it makes me question if he's hired by the Annoying Orange campaign to spew this stuff)

These threads aren't just spam, I would say they detract from the quality of Off-Topic but then again it's not like there's pages of content otherwise.  Not an excuse to spew headlines with no sources and a mediocre description of the subject "being reported" by the master of investigative journalism himself.

i think it's a good idea to let everyone participate and make their own news threads because it evens out the work load, but only when it's relevant and/or important.

Let us not forget that Tony STILL doesn't post sources.

Whilst Tony and I agree on some things, Not posting sources is something I DO NOT agree with.
But he has posted a source on at least two occasions, and I have one here (Note: sorry for the meme image overlay, I just quickly grabbed this from my YLYL Post)

The news tag in general is annoying. If readers were interested in a topic they would click on it, no need to shove some stuffty North Korea propaganda bullstuff topic in someone's face, reminding them that it's 'NEWS!!!'.
