Author Topic: mouse randomly freezes?  (Read 633 times)

its this cheap gaming usb mouse and it randomly freeze. it let me resume use once i click again, which gets pretty frustrating in games
(windows 10)

anyone know what to do?

Try switching USB ports, restart your PC, or get an actual brand mouse to name a few

unplug it and plug it back in
if that does not fix the problem, try another mouse
or get an actual brand mouse to name a few
you do know that is an "actual brand mouse", right?

Windows 10 was a loving mistake.

I have no clue, windows 10 is a pain in the ass, I have issues with windows becoming inaccessible (can't interact with any window) until a CTRL ALT DEL, only then can I click the window.

tried first two, no use
unplug it and plug it back in
if that does not fix the problem, try another mouse
the mouse itself is not the problem, its the computer. i've tried several different mice that all work on two different computers. some were wired, some not, but they all work perfectly.

If different mice work perfectly but that specific one, then 9 times out of 10 it's the mouse that's broken / having problems

so you say that the mouse isn't the problem and the computer is, but then you say other mice you've tried work perfectly?

let me rephrase

THIS computer im trying to use this specific mouse on, it randomly freezes. i used different mice on this computer and got the same result, random freezing and lagging
i then tried two other computers and all the mice (including the new one im trying to use and the older ones) i had before worked perfectly

i have this glitch, and i will never forgive it because it made me crash into eve in KSP
you can't fix it when it happens, it goes away on it's own

sometimes i slam the mouse against a block of wood while calling it a fat cunt and it actually starts working again

light it on fire so it doesn't get cold

something similar happened to me, the mouse stop working for no reason and the a few hours later it started working. I think it's just your computer being autistic.

microwave radiation can remove artifacts that may be blocking the LED sensor

check your mouse battery

Check to see if there's any specific drivers available for it.
