hi quick question i have a new nintendo 3ds xl and i bought it like yesterday and i have no idea what a block is and how many my thing has i also have no idea where to check please help i wanna buy games but idk how much room ill have after buying the digital version of new leaf 😢😢😢

before you purchase a game it notifies you of how many blocks you have and how many you'll have left over after installing
in addition, blocks are SD card space, so you just need to get a new SD card if you don't have enough room.

If you're like me and hate limited space just save up for a 1TB sd card
Digital downloads are just better in everyway, only exception is that you can buy a used copy for less.

except for the fact that nintendos servers are bottlenecked so you can only download stuff at 650 KB/s so a game like bravely default takes like 3-4 hours to download
on the other hand if you dont like carrying cartridges around then its still good

also the new 3ds xl comes with a 4gb microsd card so you have about 32768 blocks of maximum storage
