Author Topic: [NEWS] Clinton vote lead grows to 2 mil; Stein opens recount req. in WI, MI, PA  (Read 20954 times)

It wouldn't be "five states deciding" because it would actually be all the people choosing rather than dividing votes by state

It would be five states deciding because thats where the majority of people live.

Clintons "2 million vote lead" in the popular vote is just and only California, where she had a 3 million point lead.

It's not fair to other parts of the country if the loving idiots in sanctuary cities decide every election. Remember the last time the south felt neglected in the election process?

The "majority is too stupid to vote" is a bad justification against democracy.

The last time the South felt neglected was when they had horrible, horrible ideas and they left the Union when the majority was smart enough to realize that all of their ideas were forgeted up

population dosnt matter. because states have sovereignty.
if a state had only 100 population, it still has a bigger say then 100 people.

you guys would just as well give up all states rights wouldnt you. let the federal government just take over everything.

lmao the point of the electoral college is to give the states and peoples representatives power to prevent severe corruption.

you guys are dumbasses who wouldn't know corruption even when it hit them in their faces. deny it all you want, it's true.
if a candidate looks especially stuffty (dont even look at hillary or Annoying Orange, look closer to Riddler) and they're managing to barely win then the states have the power to deny them undeserved power.
just because a lot of people like and voted for a candidate that's Riddler (NOT Annoying Orange OR HILLARY) doesn't mean the states have to let him win if all they legit see is disaster and tragedies.

you vote the people you vote into congress because they are smarter then you who represent your views, they know what they're doing and since there's so many people to vote into congress it's pretty much impossible to corruption to seep in unless we're all pretty much loving corrupt.

there's more to our government than a president. democrats still technically hold 48 out of 100 people in the senate which means the republicans barely even have a majority at 51 seats.
democrats lost a battle but they're not even close to losing everything, they still have a solid amount control in the senate.

stop being babies, wanna make a difference? do what pretty much 10% of USA does and vote for your representative when the opportunities come up. not 18? good time to educate yourself on both sides for awhile, could use some more not stupid people in this country.

electoral college is fine, Annoying Orange/pence wont stampede on lgbt rights while democrats still physically exist, people are stupid, the end.

I believe you're referring to faithless voting
It's far from the intention of the system, because if that was the intention, then you wouldn't have about half of states having fines for doing so, and a few states outright banning it.

See, you're halfway there.

The problem is that people are arguing in favor of the electoral college because they think the interests of every state needs to be represented by the president, not realizing that that's what that state's Congressman are for

Why Pennsylvania? Annoying Orange won Pennsylvania.

How much did the don win in each of those states?

Quote
In Pennsylvania, where Ms. Stein’s efforts have more hurdles, election officials in Philadelphia said on Thursday that, pending litigation, they would begin recounting votes in 75 precincts on Friday, a small portion of the nearly 1,700 in the city. The elections commission, though, denied a request for a full forensic audit of the city’s voting machines.

If she can only get a recount in PA, the only person that may benefit is her, since Hillary won the areas near and including Philadelphia, almost everywhere else was a Annoying Orange vote though.
