pls I'm not sure he wants to invest so much money, it's bound to close down sooner.

Some people may be in good environments to inherit old PC parts for little or no money at all. If they are able to recognize the value of these things and know how to use the parts they can do it very easily.

I'd like to believe that I've been lucky and graced with free PC parts because my family is friends with some owners of a technology office who regularly throws out their computers or sells them for cheap. I get most of my things from there.

Perhaps OP may have a similar situation or have a potential situation of this and may not be aware. Nevertheless few or more people in this community may have access to situations like this - Surely?

I use MEGA sharing. Free 50 GB accounts, unlimited sharing with or without a decryption key. Never had a problem, super nice website.

I don't trust Mega for certain reasons, and I don't like how they give you like 50GB for free. That seems to have some suspicion. I'm not saying giving out 50GB is bad, it just seems weird.

Dropbox has a history of banning links well before hitting a limit. Dropbox is only good for sharing with a few people at best. High traffic links are grounds for a link to be banned, regardless of bandwidth usage.

Yeah, after doing a lot of research I have found a lot of complaints. Even if you had the pro version of dropbox it still is not even worth it.

Why not edit the links in all your topics? It sounds like you still have the files, you can just upload them somewhere else and update the links.

why doesn't anyone use Google drive? I've been using it for years and I've had no trouble

I've been using it since like 2012, I just used dropbox mainly for blockland stuff. Looks like I'll move it all to drive now.

I do not want to create a hosting for my stuff, I don't have any money right now as I am only a High School Senior looking for jobs nearby (sadly I live in a rural area so it's kinda difficult finding one)


All files I posted on the forums are still in my files; dropbox disabled them, that's all.
I will be moving my links to Google Drive. To help change my links, please post forum links of my broken download links. I will edit the OP and tell you which links I found that are going to be changed, and links that are already changed. Thanks to everyone for helping me find a solution!

Edit: Sadly some links are on my old profile and they cannot be edited, I'll create a new topic for them if needed.
