Author Topic: looking for a oldass game forget help me [MYSTERY SOLVED: Slyder Adventures]  (Read 866 times)

so there was a game i used to play as a kid. it used to be hosted on realarcade, now known as gamehouse. i couldn't find this game anywhere on gamehouse, nor could i find it via vaguely searching terms with the name gamehouse and realarcade included.

the game had a 2d, cartoonish artstyle. the entire game was from a topdown perspective.

gameplay worked by tilting a blue sphere person across a sort of labyrinth using the arrow keys. you could eat various fruits that were around, while also bouncing on objects, and sometimes even into falling traps, taking one of your lives.

it was a very fun game, sorta actiony but also puzzly?? i guess.

i really need to know what the forget this is, if anyone knows and tells me that'd be super amazing.

thanks a lot.

edit: solved!!

someone on /r/tipofmyjoystick helped me out! the game is Slyder Adventures.

jesus, i finally know what this is now

sounds like pacman + maze man

no, not really

marble madness????

nah, that had a isometric 3dish (?) perspective. the game was completely topdown, with no 3d gimmicks or anything.

oh forget i remember this game too but for the love of forget i cannot remember the name
i also remember that these types of games had a genre name but nothing is loving coming to me
this is extremely frustrating

what if the game never existed and it's a hivemind false memory
