first step, be SURE you have the two parts that goes to the key (the plastic part and the key itself)



Next, look inside the key's hole to find the small "clips" that would hold the plastic bit in there



Next, orient the plastic piece around to where it'll fit inside the hole along with actually connect to the clips themselves




Now press it in damn hard until all four / however many pins click in and hold the piece in



Now locate the pins underneath your key and see if there are any extra pins on the plastic bit. If there are, align them both like this, flip it sideways and press it on. If not, then just put the key in normally and press it in until it clicks or is firmly in there.
